Great video, Thank you for sharing;
Is the heat shield (that protects the lower ball joint rubber boot from the heat generated by the brake disc) that was removed at 1.58 minutes- no longer required?
Thank you for the valuable clarification, we understand that mistakes were made during the replacement, we are working on them and in new videos, we will try to avoid them.

Very good guide.
My mot on my Peugeot 208 2014, said advisories: Suspension arm pin, or bush worn nearside front, so i took it in to be repaired, and on invoice says product suspension arm, and labour to replace n.s lower arm, no mention of arm pin or bush ? does that mean they not fix arm pin or bush ? thx
At the middle of work I find out you sent me wrong part
Should you not use a new wheel nut bolt and after torqueing to 245 nm not 115 nm tap in the ends to lock? thanks
It is not possible to answer your question unambiguously; you can find this information in the technical documentation for repairing your car.
Very informative
115 NM for the central hub nut torque seems to be incorrect ? Should be 300 NM. Could you please confirm your torque spec is correct ?
Yes, you are right, the correct torque is 245 Nm, it will be useful for us.
Thanks for your attentiveness.
Thanks👍
is it possible to get away without disassembling the drive axle?
Thank you for your comment!
Yes, in theory, it is possible, but it will be much more difficult to replace the lever.
Best Regards,
Autodoc team
I did it by moving the axel out of the way but its quite difficult
How do you remove the wheel hub nut when the sides are bent into grooves in the CV joint?
It is necessary to flare the sides that are bent.
@@autodocuk Would a heavy duty set of pliers be sufficient? What would you recommend?
@SmartBomb1 use a hammer and chisel
Good

This is a chronic engineering problem for the peugeot 206, 207 and 208. In Brazil this error is an old acquaintance. There is no point in exchanging for original spare parts, after 90 days the problem returns. Nobody else wants this garbage around here.
Hi, what problem you mean ? I also need to change the ball joint on the suspension arm.
